Dear British Business Club members,

2023 is already up and running and I do hope that you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

This week the BBC Committee came together for the first time this year. We spent time discussing two main topics, our reflections on 2022 and what next in 2023?

For 2022, we were all aligned in thinking that especially when all circumstances are taken into consideration, it was a very successful year. The number of capacity-crowd events and new members certainly back this up. We are grateful to each and every one who attended, supported and sponsored our events.

As we thought about 2023, we discussed the need to continue with our traditional events, social evenings, the church fete and bowling in support of charity as examples.  In addition, we would like to promote more family, children, culture and art events to increase the diversity of our activations.

Therefore, I have a very simple request. If you are supportive of doing more in the areas mentioned above and indeed in others that are not, please do contact me with your ideas. The important thing here is to come up with new ideas and ones that you are willing to support personally by getting involved and supporting via time and effort.

Thank you for all your support during 2022 and I look forward to seeing you at events during 2023.
