It is with great sadness that we announce to our members that our friend and colleague Oleg Babinov passed away suddenly on Saturday, 21st of January.
A true pioneer in Russia, in the early 1990s Oleg became the first Russian national to be hired by the newly established Moscow office of Kroll before going on to help co-found The Risk Advisory Group in 1997. He worked at TRAG for over 21 years including nearly 15 years as the head of its Russia, Eastern Europe and Eurasia practice before becoming a Senior Advisor to Wallbrook in early 2021.
Many will remember Oleg as a wonderful poet, philosopher, author of several books, business analysts and just a good person. His passing is real loss to our community.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his wife Tatiana, his son Daniil and to the rest of their family as well as to his colleagues and friends.
May he rest in peace and remain in our thoughts forever
