Dear British Business Club members,

As we enter the Christmas and the New Year period, I wanted to take the opportunity to wish each one of you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. When we entered 2022, I don’t believe any of us could truly predict what a year of change it would be. So many events across the world have impacted us but through it all I do believe the BBC here in Moscow has played a very important role in continuing to bring people of all nationalities together.

During the year we all took great joy in celebrating the Platinum Jubilee of our late Queen Elizabeth II and also came together to honor this incredible ladies life when she sadly passed away. Other events that occurred during the year are too numerous to list but without doubt we held many fantastic BBC events, partner events, came together with other associations, supported the “friends of BBC” for their own events and tried to organize something for all. Thank you to both the incredibly supportive BBC Committee and to all the numerous venue hosts for welcoming us and providing such memorable events. In addition, over 200 new members joined us throughout the year and it was a great pleasure to see some old members coming back to visit us again. As always, we welcome your feedback and ideas for 2023 as we try to continuously improve.

Once again I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from myself, Irina and Evangelina. I do hope that in 2023 we will see peace return across the world and that each of us enjoys a happy, healthy and successful year.
