Dear RBCC Members and Friends,

I know you will all be deeply anxious and worried about the events unfolding in Ukraine.  These are dark days indeed and we absolutely share your concern.  I am in daily contact with our Chairman and members of the RBCC Board.  We are keeping a careful watch on developments but collectively feel that more time needs to pass before we can take meaningful stock of where we are.  I am in touch with the Department for International Trade and intend to arrange an Embassy Outreach webinar as soon as it makes sense to do so.

For Expat Brits working and living in Russia, security may be at the back of your minds.  British Embassy advice can be found here https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/russia and it is the most authoritative and up to date source of security guidance.   Please check it on a regular basis.

As soon as I have anything more substantive I will communicate it to you.  Until then, please keep safe and if you would like to contact me or my colleagues to talk any of this through we would be delighted to hear from you.

Alf Torrents

Executive Director
Russo-British Camber of Commerce
